Privacy Policy — George Ninos Photography

Last updated: June 20, 2026

George Ninos Photography respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have when you visit georgeninosphotography.com.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email, message, and “how you heard about us.” Used only to respond to you.

  • Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe. Used to send occasional updates about new prints and Field Notes.

  • Print orders: prints are produced and shipped by third-party labs — Pictorem (Canada/US) and WhiteWall (Europe). When you order, the details needed to fulfill and ship your order are handled by those providers under their own privacy policies.

  • Automatically collected: like most websites, basic analytics and cookies (pages visited, device and browser type, general location) via Squarespace and any connected analytics tools.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries.

  • To send newsletter emails you opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time).

  • To fulfill and ship print orders through the labs above.

  • To understand and improve the site.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

The site uses cookies to function and to measure traffic — for example, Squarespace’s built-in analytics, and Google tools (Search Console / Analytics) if connected. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the site’s cookie banner.

Third parties we work with

Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Squarespace — website hosting, forms, and analytics.

  • Pictorem / WhiteWall — print production and shipping.

  • Email/newsletter provider (Squarespace Email Campaigns or Mailchimp) — to manage subscriptions and send emails.

  • Microsoft 365 — handling email you send through the contact form.

  • Google — Search Console / Analytics, if enabled.

Data retention

We keep contact-form messages and subscriber details only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected (to reply to you, or until you unsubscribe), then delete or anonymize them.

Your rights & choices

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (link in every email).

  • Request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Depending on where you live — for example, Canada (PIPEDA), the EU/UK (GDPR), or California (CCPA) — you may have additional rights. To exercise any of these, contact us through the Contact page.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
